Earshot is a walking companion app that plays community-recorded audio clips about the places you walk past. By downloading or using Earshot you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
When you record and upload a voice clip you retain ownership of that recording. By submitting it you grant Earshot a licence to store, distribute, and display it to other users of the app. You are responsible for ensuring your clips do not infringe third-party rights or violate these terms.
You must not upload content that is:
Clips are reviewed before or after publication. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms without prior notice. Reported clips are reviewed by moderators and may be hidden during that process.
You can delete your account at any time from the You tab inside the app. See the account deletion instructions for details.
Earshot is provided as-is. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, limit, or discontinue the service at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, Earshot is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or content posted by other users.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
