Delete Your Account

How to permanently remove your Earshot account and data.

This action is permanent. Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your sign-in link (Apple or Google) will be removed and cannot be restored.

In-app deletion (recommended)

Account deletion is available directly inside the app:

Step 1

Open the You tab

Tap the "You" tab at the bottom of the app. You must be signed in.

Step 2

Tap "Delete account"

Tap "Delete account" at the bottom of the You tab screen.

Step 3

Choose what happens to your clips

Pick one of the two options before confirming:

Keep clips for the neighbourhood

Your recordings stay published, re-attributed to "a neighbour" instead of your handle.

Delete my clips too

Every clip you recorded is permanently removed along with your account.

Step 4

Type "delete" and confirm

Type the word delete in the confirmation field, then tap "Permanently delete my account". The deletion runs immediately.

What gets deleted

Your account record and sign-in link (Apple or Google)
Your display handle and profile information
Your clips (if you chose "delete my clips too")
Any reports or blocks associated with your account

Cached files on your device are also cleared when you delete.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to the app or can't sign in, email us and we'll delete your account manually. Include the email address or Apple/Google account you used to sign in.
