Why I built this
I have friends who’ve lived in this city for years. Every time I walk their neighbourhoods with them, I get to hear things I’d never know on my own — the corner where something happened decades ago, the building that used to be something else entirely, the story the regular at the café carries around but never shares with a stranger passing by.
I love walking. And somewhere in those walks I realised: the only thing missing was my friend’s voice in my ear.
I built earshot so that anyone walking through a neighbourhood can hear those stories. Not a tour. Just people with sixty seconds and something to say about where they’re standing — leaving it there for whoever comes next.
